The Oneplus 5 is set to launch on the 22nd of June. Following the success of the Oneplus 3 and the Oneplus 3T, the company is about to launch its ultrathin successor. The Oneplus company works with the moto “Never Settle” and by it they deliver extreme performance packed with premium build at a comparatively low price. Hence the Oneplus 5 is no doubt the most anticipated budget flagship that everyone across the world is awaiting for.

Why Oneplus 5, not 4?

Now coming to the reason why Oneplus skipped over ‘4’ and named the next device ‘5’, 4 is considered as bad luck in China.
Though according to Oneplus, the main logic behind skipping over 4 is NBA player Robert Horry, who used to play in number 5 jersey. Robert is liked by a majority of the Oneplus staff too. The Shenzhen office of Oneplus also has the art painting of the legend NBA player hanging.
